Financial Aid

Student grants and loans

  • At Academy of Learning Career College, we believe that financial barriers should never stand in the way of your education. That’s why we proudly support and guide our students in accessing Government Student Grants (non-repayable financial assistance) offered by Federal and Provincial Governments to eligible students.
  • These grants are designed to help cover the cost of tuition, books, transportation, and living expenses. Unlike student loans, grants do not need to be repaid, making them an ideal form of financial support for many students.
  • Our Financial Aid Team is here to guide you through the application process and help you find the support you need.
  • Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.

Microlending loan financing

  • Windmill Microlending is a remarkable initiative that operates in Canada, dedicated to creating opportunities and empowering newcomers to the country. Through its innovative microloan program, Windmill Microlending aims to help skilled immigrants and refugees overcome financial barriers and achieve their professional goals.

  • Founded on the belief that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, Windmill Microlending focuses on providing financial support to individuals who face challenges accessing traditional credit due to their newcomer status. By offering low-interest loans, Windmill Microlending enables newcomers to obtain the Canadian credentials, training, and certifications necessary to pursue their chosen careers and contribute effectively to the Canadian workforce.

Access Education Through RESP

  • Students who have been named a beneficiary under a family members Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), may use funds from the RESP to finance their education.
  • Upon enrolling in a qualifying educational program – a course of study that lasts at least three consecutive weeks, with a minimum of 10 hours of instruction per week – the beneficiary will become eligible to receive those funds.

Explore Student Line of Credit Options in Canada

  • Many Canadian financial institutions offer a student line of credit for those who may not be eligible for student loans or who demonstrate a need for financial aid above that which they’ve already received. Eligibility requirements, interest rates and maximum credit limits vary from bank to bank.

Canada Job Grant Benefits

The Canada–Ontario Job Grant (COJG) is a government-funded program that helps employers strengthen their workforce by investing in employee training with financial support. It enables businesses to upskill both new and existing employees by covering a substantial portion of eligible training costs.

Through the COJG, employers can receive up to $10,000 per employee in direct funding, making professional training more affordable and accessible. This support helps organizations improve productivity, address skills gaps, and stay competitive in a rapidly changing job market, while allowing employers to choose training programs that best match their business needs.

By working with approved training providers, employers can ensure their teams gain relevant, in-demand skills while reducing overall training expenses.
